I grew up a true Canadian in a family full of lumberjacks and firemen, have sold over $35M online, lived on a small island in Asia for a decade, built a zoo, nightclubs, hotels, restaurants, beach festivals, gambled chicken fighting with politicians, shot machine guns in a tropical banana fields, jumped off the largest bridge in Africa, sit as treasury secretary on a charity... and much, MUCH more...
Life is crazy, now living in Switzerland raising a family with my wife dedicated to impacting lives with BJKU & Skool where we are disrupting the education system.
So, let's get into the timeline.
In my early 20s, I was an alpine ski racer, mastering discipline, pain tolerance, and team spirit. Navigating icy slopes with resilience and precision, I overcame multiple "career-ending" injuries, proving it's not over until you quit. Being ranked in the top 100 at that time, I chose to retire healthy and accepted a full athletic scholarship in the USA, where I completed my BA, did a study abroad in Finland, and won two National Titles with the ski team. Lots of keg stands too. Good times! NEXT!
With a BA in Business Management and Economics under my belt, I then completed an MBA in Switzerland and dove into the corporate world. Searching for something I enjoyed... I started as a banker, then became an Insurance Broker, and later moved to corporate hospitality in Geneva and Singapore. As I climbed the hospitality ladder, I realized corporate life wasn't for me. I craved entrepreneurship and creativity, not boardroom politics. NEXT!
I embraced my inner hippie, spending eight years on a small Southeast Asian island doing yoga, riding motorbikes, swimming with my dog, and throwing beach festivals. But beach parties don’t pay the bills, so my wife and I left for Europe with a plan to go online and level up. NEXT!
I retired my wife on the flight with no savings and no online income sources, committing fully to our future. In 2020, from a tiny Airbnb in Rome, I launched my online journey. It was eye-opening! Combining my passion for entrepreneurship and leadership, I'm able to support my family financially while staying globally connected, all from home. WOW!
Now in 2024, calling Switzerland home, raising a family, and serving as BJKU's Director of Sales & Treasury Secretary for the Foundation, life is exciting and fulfilling. BINGO!
